    BK Winery

There’s a new winery in Brooklyn, BK Winery, opening next month and we’ve got a sneak peak. They’re based in Williamsburg and their new
space will offer wine tasting classes, a wine bar, event space and group wine making.

Making wine with Nando and KerryI took a hard hat tour with one of the owners, Brian, a few weeks ago and really dug the concept and the whole spirit of the project. I spent many fall harvests making wine with my friends and Portuguese “family.” And in the process, I fell in love with winemaking… and the final product. So this place definitely brought back great memories.

The BK Winery is opening up the winery to groups (like Ted and Amy’s) or just groups of friends, to make their own wine from start to finish -
literally from crushing the grapes through bottling (and designing your own custom label). And they have a hired a winemaker who walks you through each step of the process to help make sure you don’t mess it up.

We’ve got a private Ted and Amy hard hat tour set up for next Wednesday for anyone who is interested in checking out the space or getting in on making a barrel together this fall (there’s discount for Ted and Amy crew.)

So come on out on Wednesday for the free tour and then drinks over at Custom American Wine Bar up the street. If you are interested in attending the tour, please RSVP to info @ tedandamysupperclub.com

    Hope you can join us!

    The Cookoff Chefs

After a month break, we’re back! This past July, Ted and Amy Supper Club was sponsoring The 5th Annual Great Hot Dog Cookoff. We raised over $5,000 for City Harvest, and a whole bunch of Supper Club friends were there competing, volunteering and eating. Supper Club guest, Karol Lu, walked away with the big prize and the title of Best in Show. Congrats Karol! And thank you all for your support!

You can check out the site for more details on what went down. And also sign up for the mailing list so you don’t miss out on next year’s event.
