This basic knife skills class will discuss some different types of knives, how to care for them, and how to use them safely in your home kitchen. We will start with an onion and cut it several different ways, then move on to other common vegetables. We will talk about the hows and whys of cutting vegetables to the appropriate size for different uses and what the difference is between them. Wine and light snacks will be provided.
